Epoxy is hard and durable, but will scratch like wood when used as a cutting board 
Small feet/bumpers on the bottom of the board. 
Wood has been treated with cutting board oil and wax. Retreating the exposed wood area periodically with cutting board oil /wax is recommended to keep it from drying out. Epoxy area can be cleaned with a damp cloth or non abrasive cleaner. 
Should not be submerged in water or put in a dishwasher.
